Steven Morrow appointed assistant dean, Advanced Dental Education

Ronald Dailey, PhD, Dean, LLU School of Dentistry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven Morrow, DDS’60, MS’85, as assistant dean for Advanced Dental Education.   Dr. Steven Morrow Having taught future oral healthcare professionals at LLUSD since 1965, Dr. Morrow is currently a professor in the Department of Endodontics that he chaired from 1987 to 1990. He maintains responsibilities he accepted in 2000 as director of Patient Care Services and Clinical Quality Assurance. A leader in the field of Endodontics, Dr.

LLUSD receives large check

For its cooperation with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program, Loma Linda University School of Dentistry received a substantial grant for using, adopting, and implementing axiUm Certified Electronic Health Record and for meeting the criteria set by the State of California to provide patient care to 30 percent Medicaid patients based on overall 2012 dental school patient volume. Introducing Robert Fritz

Robert Fritz, DDS’75A, joined the LLU School of Dentistry Department of Restorative Dentistry as an assistant professor in October 2013. With a major assignment in the clinic, he finds himself wanting to emulate the teachers who helped him when he was an LLUSD student. He cites the example of the late Dean Judson Klooster, DDS, whose membership in the Academy of General Dentistry prompted him to join that organization in 1976. Dr. Fritz became a fellow of the Academy in 1982 and later joined the Academy of Dentistry International.

LLUSD volunteers enhance 2014 (29th annual) Children's Day
