Careers In Dentistry

Dentistry and dental hygiene are unique professions that combine the art of healing with cutting edge technology. Individuals are provided an in-depth look at various dental and dental hygiene careers with hands on activities.

How to Apply

Registration is closed. Please check back in April of 2023 to register for next summer's program.
Current TB test within 12 months is required.
Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate to participate.
Workshop is limited to 70 and is usually filled before the deadline, so apply early.

A: High school graduates, college students, or those looking at a possible career change. This is a great opportunity to see if a career in the world of dentistry is right for you.

Q: What is the cost of this workshop?
A: The workshop is $400 per person, and housing fee of $35 per night / $105 for 3 night stay if needed.

Minorities in Dentistry

This program is designed to promote dental education to ethnic and cultural groups that are underrepresented in the dental industry. Topics will focus on why dentistry is an excellent career choice, how to get into a dental or dental hygiene program, and how to finance your education.

Participants will hear alumni share their personal stories of success. Current dentistry and dental hygiene students will be available to share their personal
journey and answer questions.

How to Apply

Workshop is $25 for participant and one family member.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Workshop is limited to 50 and is usually filled before the deadline, so apply early.
