Synopsis
Discussion will focus on management of trauma, pulpal preservation via vital pulp therapy and pulpal regeneration in the face of traumatic or carious ailment of the dental pulp.
Objectives
Participants should develop an understanding of treatment options beyond root canal therapy and recognize when alternative treatment options are recommended to maintain pulp vitality or attempt regenerative procedures. Additionally, participants should gain an understanding of how to manage dental trauma as it relates to the dental pulp.
