Rolando Zeledon has joined the School as a Senior Development Officer. Rolando brings extensive experience and a proven track record in nonprofit development and strategic management, making him a valuable addition to our philanthropy team.

Rolando holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford, graduating with distinction. During his time in graduate school, he became deeply committed to entrepreneurship and coaching underserved groups on how to run a small business/entrepreneurship.

After a while, he began to miss working in the technology field and decided to pursue that passion again. He soon took a job at Schools Online, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping K-12 schools connect to the Internet and each other. At that time, in 1999, very few rural or urban schools in the developing world had access to internet connectivity for their students. Schools Online aimed to connect children internationally, enabling them to work collaboratively with their peers around the world. This position ultimately helped Rolando develop a love for non-profit organizations and ministry work. For 12 years, he was the Executive Director of Bayshore Christian Ministries, a youth development organization based in East Palo Alto, CA with the mission to help youth grow spiritually, gain life skills and develop as leaders so that they have a hope and a future.

With over 25 years of career experience, Rolando has shown exceptional leadership and innovative thinking in various roles. Most recently, he served as the Area Director for Mission Increase, where he coached nonprofit leaders and led fundraising efforts that significantly enhanced their development capacity. He believes his career path has been guided by a higher purpose, ultimately leading him to LLUSD.

Rolando’s vision aligns perfectly with our mission, to advance dental education and research. He is eager to connect donors with projects that resonate with them. He enjoys facilitating these connections and looks forward to meeting and getting to know all our alumni. His door is always open, and he is excited to witness God’s good work being done.
