Murray Jacobs, DDS, assistant professor, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, attended the 15th Annual AAOMS Day on Capitol Hill, organized by the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons that took place March 17-18, 2015, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C.
As a member of the OMSPAC board of directors, a bi-partisan political action committee of the AAOMS, Dr. Jacobs has the unique opportunity to act as a political advocate for the specialty in oral and maxillofacial surgery and have a meaningful impact on federal health care policy, regardless of any previous political/advocacy experience.
