A few weeks ago, the School hosted a group of dental professionals from China for a 40-hour Advanced Course in Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics. The dental professionals were originally scheduled to attend in 2019, but the pandemic made travel impossible.
Throughout the week our faculty members, Dr. Joseph Kan, Dr. Jaime Lozada, Dr. Antonaela Garbacea, and Dr. Charles Goodacre, shared their expertise on a variety of topics in Implant Dentistry and Prosthodontics. Dr. Lozada and Dr. Kan also conducted live surgical demonstrations, which were a highlight for attendees.
As the week came to an end, the students were given certificates of completion and captured a group photo, marking their successful journey through the course. LLU School of Dentistry is grateful for the opportunity to share the knowledge of our esteemed faculty with such dedicated oral health professionals from China.
