Synopsis
This lecture and small group hands-on experience will provide each participant with updated clinical knowledge and a skill refresher Topics include advanced fulcrums, instrumentation choices, ultrasonics, perioscopy and local anesthesia IANB review.
Objectives
- Apply advanced fulcrum techniques during periodontal instrumentation
- Determine appropriate and safe instrument selection during scaling and root planning
- Understand the use of perioscopy during assessment, treatment and evaluation
- Identify potential anatomical considerations and alternative techniques with mandibular local anesthesia
*Participants to bring loupes.
Included in tuition: local anesthesia, syringes, needles, disposables for chair set-up
