Service Learning
Service Learning is the soul of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. The school motto, “Service is our Calling” says it well. Service to others is incorporated into the curriculum with the predoctoral students expected to complete a minimum of 120 hours and the Dental Hygiene and International Dental students 60 hours prior to graduation.
Extensive local community opportunities are available to students as well as more than 20 international mission trips per academic year. LLUSD strives to fulfill Christ’s mission through His statement in the gospel of John, “...love each other as I have loved you.”
