Functional esthetics helps preserve the dentition, improves the appearance of the teeth and slows the aging effects of the teeth and face. There is a wealth of missed opportunities for preserving the tooth structure and improving patients’ oral health and well-being in most dental offices if you just know where to look and what to ask.
Anti-aging dentistry can provide patients with a conservative way of preserving the longevity of their teeth and smiles. In more advanced cases, ceramic restorations are often required. The all ceramic restoration is one of the most challenging to master. However, it can also be one of the most rewarding for both the patient and dentist. Variations in prep design for porcelain veneers can improve the strength and predictability of these restorations. In addition, the specifics of mastering porcelain inlay and onlay restorations will also be discussed in detail. This course also will demonstrate simple and affordable methods that are available with composite resins which can become transitional in nature for ceramic reconstructive type treatment plans. Elements of smile design will be reviewed to enhance the esthetic results.
To produce predictable and reliable restorations consistently, rigidly adhering to a few basic principles is compulsory. This course will reveal critical secrets that eliminate sensitivity, minimizes fractures and improves fit consistently. It will also include principles of prep design, temporization, restoration seating and finishing.
Whether you are placing one porcelain inlay, six veneers or staging a full mouth reconstruction, this course will make the process easier and more predictable.
